We are forever grateful to our clients who put their faith in us.

Whatever people believe, or want you to believe, great comms is great comms.

You don’t need to have worked in x sector to be good at it. Yes sector experience helps, but it’s not the be all and end all.

Great insight, clarity of objectives, knowledge of channels, close working relationships with the client sector experts, being able to create powerful narratives, the ability to measure outcomes, matched by mutual values and a singular hunger to succeed are the cornerstones of success.

This week marks 7 years since we delivered international medical innovation after one client Andrew Weeks University of Liverpool put their faith in us. And this week we have been blown away by the impact research can have beyond the science – the personal and societal impacts which are truly global and life changing.

We have been in Uganda – where we saw first hand the end of one project, the start of the next which if successful could save 900,000 needless newborn deaths a year.

We also saw first hand the life work of an amazing British clinician Kathy Burgoine.

Celebrating 10 Years since setting up the first neonatal unit opened in Eastern Uganda.

In 2014, 1 in 2 newborns admitted to hospital were not surviving. They now care for up to 110 small and sick newborns at a time, admitting over 3,500 every year.

Over the past decade, overall mortality has dropped from 48% to just 12% — and among the tiniest preterms (under 1.5kg), deaths have fallen from nearly 95% to just 21%.

More to be done but our privilege to support in some small way to tell stories, attract funding, and help deliver real world outcomes.
